Great for kids!

I got an email asking for a review on a purchase I made 6 or 7 months ago, and since I really wanted to support you guys, I thought I'd give my honest thoughts. And let me tell you, they're super positive!

My three kids are obsessed with this thing. They each have their own plant, and it's been a daily ritual to see whose plant is growing the fastest. It's crazy how much quicker the plants actually grow. Definitely a win-win for us, the kids are happy, and my plants are thriving!

Lovely ambiance

What I matters to me most is definitely the grow lights. Compared to my other smart garden (c&g), plantones lights are so much diffrent. The color is actually really calming, not harsh or artificial-looking. It creates a cozy and relaxing atmosphere in my bedroom, which is exactly what I wanted and the dimming feature is genius! I am able to turn the lights way down. I even use it as a night light sometimes on the lowest setting. its so gentle.

Another thing I really appreciate is to simply pick up seasonal flowers at market and just planting them directly into the plantone. Normally, I'm not great at keeping flowers alive for long time and they last so much longer and stay in a good shape in this gadget. I recommend.

I got the Plantone Smart Garden from Kickstarter.com. I have been using it for a sometime now, and I'm very happy with it. I love growing herbs, and this device makes it super easy.

Plus:

-It looks good and works well.
-I like that it doesn’t cost me extra to grow plants. It works with soil and any seeds.
-The light is dimmable too, which is a big plus!

Minus:

-Power cable could be a bit longer, atleast for my setup.

Funny story: My father-in-law planted a seed (maybe lemon or orange, he's not sure:) and it grew into a little bonsai in the Plantone!

I give this product 4.5 out of 5 stars. Overall, it's very cool.

It’s like having a little indoor garden without any of the hassle

As a college student living in a shared flat with three other mates, our life is a whirlwind of late-night studies, frantic ramen nights, and laundry piles that rival Mount Everest. So, when I saw Plantone's Planter, I was pretty skeptical. Could a plant actually thrive in the chaotic environment of our shared flat? Turns out it can!

We planted basil seeds, and just a few weeks later, we had enough fresh basil to top our pizzas. (Fresh herbs are a lifesaver, trust me.) I think the grow lights are the real game-changer since our apartment gets about as much natural light as a cave.

Honestly, Plantone is the only living greenery in our home (which I’m not exactly proud of), but it’s low-maintenance and super easy to use. it's way easier to keep alive than that cactus we got last semester. (RIP, Prickly Pete.)

In the event of a power outage, the lights in Plantone will turn off temporarily. However, the automatic watering system will continue to function as usual. Once the power is restored, the lights will turn on automaticaly.

Does it come with an adapter?

Plantone does not come with an adapter included. However, it is designed to be compatible with any standard mobile phone or tablet charger adapter. Simply use any charger you already have at home to power your Plantone. Additionally, for added convenience and portability, Plantone can be powered by power banks or solar panels, allowing you to enjoy gardening anywhere.
